My parents have begun planning their retirement and have explained to us the importance of begin prepared for our future. Tripp must have overheard this conversation, because yesterday morning over eggs and toast and ovaltine I caught him reading some of the retirement planning literature that Mimi had left out. I thought, "my child is a genius, he's going to be like Wormser on Revenge of the Nerds (He's the 14 year old tri-lam at Adams College)." Then he made these faces and I realized that he is like every other 19-month old, all he cares about is Sesame Street, candy and driving his tractor. How does that song go, "I believe the children are our future. . .?" The futures looking bright!
