We are finally moved into our new home. It is a cute little 50's vintage bungalow on 10th street. Ark City is such a cute little town, the streets are brick for the most part (it's really charming if you haven't just drank a route 44 cherry limeade, it kills your bladder) there is a park on every corner, the streets names are A, B, C, 1, 2, 3 and names like Maple and Chestnut. It is like a Norman Rockwell painting, kids riding bikes down the brick roads with all the freshly fallen leaves stirring up behind them. I just love it. Tripp seems to enjoy it also, he's made friends with all of Jesse's buddies at the fire station. They show him the fire trucks and Tripp in turn gives them a "pile-driver" or as Tripp calls it a "head knock" (aka. head lock). He's become a real bruiser, especially hanging out with Jesse at the testosterone-rich fire station.
I really love it here and I think I am making my place, everyone has been very kind and welcoming to us. Jesse is worried I might embarass him with some of my shoes and outfits, at the very first event we went to, he told me, "you're dressed too big city." My response was, "of course!" He's really going to be embarassed at the City X-mas party when I wear my 6 inch silver sequined peep toes, they make me like 6' tall or maybe I'll do the the black rabbit fur wedge boots? I like to be . . . ummm. . .unique?
