I hope you had an excellent Holiday season. Christmas is always bittersweet to me: you prepare for weeks shopping, decorating, baking, mailing cards, wrapping gifts and so on. . . We put so much work into "The Christmas Spirit," and then it's over, in one day. I want it to last a week or two, like a Christmas Jubilee! We didn't do any of that stuff last year, but this year we decorated to the gill's. Our house looks like the Griswald's!
Tripp enjoyed this Christmas so much more than last year, he was still too little. He got some great gifts that he has already put to the 21 month old test. He loved playing with all the toys big and small, and ate his weight in candy canes.
Jesse had to work so we asked if "Ho Ho" would leave Tripp's present at the fire station so that Jesse could watch him open his present. Santa left Tripp a Radio Flyer Wonder Horse, remember those: back then they had the exposed metal springs that were always good for a pinched finger and they made that springy racket like a trampoline. Tripp loves his horse, but he calls it, "a weecy" (wee-see). He bucks his horse so big it bounces off the ground. I see a possible rodeo career in the future. I will post video asap!
