The Latest . . .video included

So much is happening anymore, Jesse starts his job Oct. 1, we close on our house Oct. 9, we are living with my folks in Ponca City while we try to find a home in Ark City.  Meanwhile, we moved our store to Owasso and I'm commuting twice a week (hopefully not for too long).  It's a very exciting time for us, and after all the bad that 2008 brought it's finally turning around for us and we couldn't be more happy.

On a lighter note, Tripp is getting bigger by the minute and becoming a little boy right before our eyes.  He's is such a chatterbox, and when he was little I swore I would never be one of THOSE mothers that translates her childs' babbling into sophisticated sentences.  Oops, I guess I shouldn't have said, "NEVER!"  Tripp can't make his "F" sounds, they sound like the "sh," so football=shootball, fall=shawl, fish=shish and so on.  His new words are sucker or SUUUCK....ER! and cookie monster or heehee monter (the heehee is kind of a back of your throat hacking sound.)

Random pics

These are just some cute pics I found while digging around on my parents computer.
  • Tripp enjoying the presents at his very first X-mas (9 mos)
  • Meg, Beth, Audrey, Mel and me at the wonderful baby shower they threw me.
  • Me and Jesse celebrating anniversary numero 3
  • Oh, geez how did that one of Jesse get in there. That picture was taking to put in a lovely frame as Jesse's Dirty Santa gift, that some lucky person would have received at Matt and Meg's annual X-mas party. Too bad it was cancelled, curse you ice storm!

Boone's Farm

This was at the OSU v. Missouri State game.  Trenton had no clue who this guy was, except that everyone was asking for his autograph and pictures.  Little did he know he was rubbing elbows with a kajillionaire.

MOVING!!!

Well everybody, it looks like Jesse and I are going to be re-locating. Jesse was offered a position as a Firefighter/EMS so it looks like we are moving to Arkansas City, Kansas.  Pronounced AR-Kansas not Arkansawwww. We are so happy, but anxious to find out more about the job, the city and the move!!!

Pioneer Woman

If you haven't yet, you need to check out http://www.thepioneerwoman.com/. It is such a good blog, she is so funny and lives on a working ranch in Osage County. Her website has beautiful photography, great recipes and hilarious stories about the antics that occur on the ranch. Be sure and check out Black Heels to Tractor Wheels, it's the story of her whirlwind romance with her husband, the Marlboro Man. She's a fantastic writer.

The Zoo!

Monday was a very special day for Tripp, we went to the zoo! The weather was absolutely beautiful, and Tripp had so much fun. He loved the lions and the bears, anything that growls. He and I played in the petting zoo, where we got to brush the goats hair. Tripp thought they were puppies or puppas as Tripp calls them. I have a real knack for not capturing the milestones, like the zoo!

I am sick and tired

Okay, I normally don't like to discuss politics, but I am so sick and tired of hearing about how Sarah Palin is not qualified to be the VP. She is more than qualified. Secondly, I am sick and tired of hearing these celebrities and their political opinions. The good majority of the celebrities that find it necessary to spew their word vomit don't even have a high school diploma. Having a GED doesn't qualify you to speak to the nation as our political advisor. I am not an idiot, and I don't need Kirsten Dunst, Susan Sarandon or that stupid guy from the MTV VMA's to tell me who I need to vote for. They are not smarter than me because I am a Republican. I have chosen to be a Republican when, according to the IN crowd, that was not the popular choice to make. Sorry, I had to rant.
