Big Boy!

For those of you who have yet to hear the exciting news, Tripp is now wearing, "skivvies," he is using the potty.  We have had some incidents, but we are at about an 85% success rate, which is Jim Freakin Dandy by me.  Pardon me calling them, "panties," I just can't help myself.  Tripp's panties are so cute, they are little bitty and look hilarious on his tiny butt.

Also, since I am in school I have to practice my techniques.  I am truly thankful that Jesse and Tripp are so accommodating.  Here they are in a mud mask and a few days later I waxed Jesse's legs.  He is such a trooper!  The make up application is still up for debate, but I will keep asking, or maybe I'll do it when he's asleep, like Tripp does.

The Lake

I know it's been a while since my last post, forgive me I am busy between shuttling Tripp back and forth to Ponca and driving to Wichita 4 days a week I find very little time to even brush my teeth.  Things seem to have quieted down for a bit, thank God, I needed a reprieve.

So we went to the lake for Memorial weekend, we had a great time.  We had a lot of laughs, sun, and beverages!  The people watching at the lake is better than the fair, even though we didn't see Trenton's old friend, "The Hairy Nuts Lady," we did see her sister, the big fat girl with nothing on top but pasties.  I will spare you and your stomach and not include her photo with this post.  We did have with us some Grand Lake virgins, Monique and Barry, I think they might have been a little shell shocked, but in the end had a great time!  Our days were spent on the water and the evenings back at the house playing rock band, I am terrible at it.

Being at the lake makes me miss Oklahoma, we are far enough away that it's just not the same.

Tripp, age 2

What a cutie pie, huh?  It looks like he might also have some cutie pie on his face in this picture.  He is showing off his new t-shirt he got for his birthday.  I could just cry, he's becoming such a big boy now.

More birthday pics

I finally downloaded my camera from Tripp's birthday.  These pics are from the birthday party as well as pics of him enjoying his birthday presents.  Jesse and I got Tripp a big boy bike with training wheels, he looks hilarious riding it.  He wears that big dorky helmet, it's so funny!  That helmet was Jesse's idea, but it was a good one.  Tripp wears that thing all the time, riding his bike or not.  It's a good thing too, because he is accident prone.

The Ice of March

So, I thought when the weather men were predicting snow it was going to be just flurries.  Boy was I wrong, however they never mentioned the butt-load of ice that we got in Ark City.  We have been picking up limbs for two freakin' days.  Our backyard looks like a bomb went off, it was terrible.  The cable and power lines to the house were both pulled down and are laying across Tripp's toys in the backyard.  We lost power for 3 days, it finally came back on and then a thunderstorm came through and we lost power again on Monday night.  No worries it came back on a couple hours later.

Esthetics class

So in case you didn't know, I am training to become an esthetician.  Skin care is very important to me and I just love my class.  Here are some pictures of us practicing facials on each other, oh it feels so good and I get all sorts of free pampering.  We also learn makeup application, this is my baby.  I did sort of a Suzanne Sugarbaker daytime look on him.

Bored, continued.

I forgot this instance of boredom.  Jesse and Tripp were both tired of being cooped up so they put their hoodies on and braved the cold weather.  Tripp has a backyard full of dump trucks and other such toys, but on this day he was content to have Jesse throw a basketball up on the roof and then . . .wait for it. . .watch it fall down.  I know, I 'bout peed my pants with excitment.
